Our inspiration for Tallow and Meadow
The Inspiration for Tallow & Meadow began with a simple question: What if skincare products could be both truly natural and truly effective?
After seeing social media posts about the benefits of 100% grass fed and rendered beef tallow for your skin, I began researching its history, its nourishing properties, and the science behind why it has been used for generations. The more I learned the more I wanted to create my own products using clean, carefully selected ingredients that I could trust. Making them myself gave me the confidence in knowing exactly what I was putting on my skin-and what I was leaving out.
Not long afterward, a friend shared that someone she knew was undergoing chemotherapy and radiation and was looking for a lotion made with simple, natural, ingredients she could trust. I spent hours researching nourishing oils and essential oils that are commonly used to support dry sensitive skin. From that research, I created a rich whipped body cream that she could use and feel safe in doing so.
That experience became the beginning of Tallow & Meadow Nourish (our body cream.) It confirmed what was already growing in my heart: to create wholesome, thoughtfully crafted skincare made with ingredients you could recognize and trust.
Today, every product we make reflects that same commitment to purity, simplicity, and caring for skin the way God designed.
The growth of our product line
The journey didn't end there. After experiencing the benefits of our Radiance Facial Cream, my sister encouraged me to create a natural tallow soap bar to enhance our skincare line, eliminating the need to purchase one from another brand. I began doing research once more, uncovering the advantages of goat's milk-based soap, renowned for its gentle cleansing and nourishing properties. This inspired me to develop our tallow goat's milk facial soap, Clarity—a simple yet effective solution for cleansing without compromising the skin's natural moisture barrier.
As our collection expanded, I realized that healthy skin also thrives on gentle exfoliation. This insight led to the creation of our sugar scrub, Renew. Meticulously crafted to buff away dull, dry skin, it leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth, and deeply nourished.

That is why our products are created without unnecessary fillers, sulfates, parabens, or harsh chemicals-using nutrient -rich tallow and carefully selected natural ingredients to nourish your skin.

The Heart Behind Tallow & Meadow
Hello, I'm Jill, the founder of Tallow & Meadow.
What started as a search for a gentle, natural skincare for my own family became a passion for creating products made with simple, nourishing ingredients. I believe what we put on our skin matters just as much as what we put in our bodies. Every jar, bar, and scrub is handcrafted by me in small batches using carefully selected ingredients like grass-fed beef tallow, botanical oils and essential oils. I don't believe in unnecessary fillers or harsh chemicals -just skincare inspired by nature.
My family and friends have been the heart behind this journey. It started when loved ones, like my sister and close friends were searching for products that were both gentle and truly effective. Their encouragement, feedback, and trust inspired me to keep researching, creating, and refining each formula. Every product in the Tallow & Meadow collection was born from a real need and desire to help the people I love feel confident in their skin and what they were putting on it.
When I am not making products, you'll find me spending time with my 4, (almost grown children) my husband and friends, tending to my flowers and plants, enjoying the outdoors, singing, taking photos, or dreaming up new ways to help others with their skincare naturally.
